HOW CAN I PLAY FOR THE DALLAS TEXANS - SAN ANTONIO CLUB?

To play for the DT-SA Club you must go through a tryout process. Open tryouts are usually held at the end of May. See the TRYOUT link on the home page for further details.

WHAT IS THE COST ASSOCIATED WITH PLAYING WITH THE Dallas Texans - San Antonio?

At Dallas Texans - San Antonio, we want to help inform you of the cost associated with playing for our club. The costs described below are approximate and may vary slightly.

The costs are broken down in the following categories.

Academy Training Fees:

Training fees are based on payment for 12 months. 

The cost for training with the Dallas Texans - San Antonio Club is $50.00 a month, which includes field fees. For this fee you will receive 2 days per week of professional training, with one of the Dallas Texans - San Antonio Training Staff, and approximately 8-10 games of seasonal gameplay each Spring and Fall Season.

U-11 and up Training Fees (Competitive):

Training fees are based on payment for 12 months. 

The cost for training with the Dallas Texans - San Antonio Club is $76.00 a month. For this fee you will receive 2 days per week of professional training, with one of the Dallas Texans - San Antonio Training Staff and approximately 8-10 games of seasonal gameplay each Spring and Fall Season.

Total cost of training with the club is - $ 912.00. This fee can be paid monthly via an electronic funds transfer, In 6 installments starting July 1st of the current training year, or in full.

Training fees will be drawn for your account on the first of the month for those choosing to use the EFT method of payment.

Field Fees (U-11 and above): 

The cost to train at the Soccer International fields is $20.00 a month. This fee is applied August – June. This fee goes directly into the maintenance and upkeep of the complex, which is managed by The San Antonio Metropolitan Youth Soccer Institute.

The collection of these fees can be made monthly via an electronic funds transfer, in 6 installments starting July 1st of the current training year, or in full.

Training fees will be drawn for your account on the first of the month for those choosing to use the EFT method of payment.

Registration fees (U-11 and above):

An annual $100 registration fee per Competitive Team player (U-11 and above) is given to Dallas Texans organization for administrative and functional support.

WD or WDDOA fee is dependant on the division your team is registered at:

Premiere- $ 100.00 – This is a yearly fee.

Division 1- $ 100.00- This is a yearly fee.

Super II- $ 80.00- This is a seasonal fee. This fee will be paid twice a year.

Registration fees are due at the time of your player's registration with the club.

Uniform Cost:

The cost for the Dallas Texans - San Antonio uniform kit for seasonal year 2008-2009 will be approximately $210.00.
For this cost you will receive the following:

Two (2) DTSA Nike Federation/Rio jerseys, two (2) pairs of DTSA Nike shorts, two (2) pairs of socks. Additionally, you will receive a DTSA NIKE backpack and DTSA Hoody sweat top.

The total cost of the uniform kits, will be due by the 3rd week in June.

Club Fee:

The Dallas Texans - San Antonio Soccer Club charges a $10.00 Club fee. This is paid once a seasonal year, and will be collected at the time of registration. This fee is used for administration purposes.

D1 and Higher teams will also have to pay a WDDOA Team Fee. This year the fee is $500.00. This fee is paid once a seasonal year, and is divided amongst all the players on the team. This fee is used by WDDOA to pay for referees, fields, and other administrative needs.

Tournaments:

The Dallas Texans - San Antonio Soccer Club participates in Soccer Tournament through out the seasonal year. At times the Club will travel out side of the area for these tournaments. The cost associated with each tournament varies.

Typical entry cost for a tournament is $350 to $400, a tournament. This cost is divided amongst the players on the team. All teams that travel out side the city to any tournament will be required to help pay for the training staff that attends the tournament for the club. This will be divided amongst all the teams attending the tournament.

As a reminder, you will incur personal travel expenses for gas, lodging and food throughout the year. We are currently working on a set list of Tournament that the club will attend.
